Lect.Dr. Anca Andreea Popescu
Anca Andreea Popescu received the Engineer degree in 2007 from University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology. In 2011 she received thePhDdegree from University Politehnica of Bucharest. Starting 2007 she is a research engineer with the University Politehnica Bucharest in the Department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering.
Her main interests focus on Synthetic Aperture Radar data processing, analysis and interpretation, SARInteferometryand stochastic signal processing.
She took part in several research projects at national and international level (ROSAR, TARGETSAR, GEOINF, SIGUR, STREAM - FP -7, ROKEO - ESA-PECS, GRADIS, TOMOSAR) in the field of SAR image processing, signal processing, data mining, information retrieval, SAR tomography, ground-based SAR. Moreover, she is leading the UPB team in the frame of the research project DGI-SAR (PNCDI-II 2012-2015) - "Spaceborne Multiple Aperture Interferometry and Sequential Patterns Extraction Techniques for Accurate Directional Ground and Infrastructure Stability Measurements".
