Lect.Dr. Anamaria Rădoi
Anamaria RADOI (research) received the B.Sc. degree (Valedictorian) in Electronics and Telecommunications from University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, and the M.Sc. degree (Excellence Scholarship) from the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Department of Computer and Communication Sciences, Switzerland, in 2010 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania (in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications, awarded Summa Cum Laude) in 2015. In 2011 and 2015, she pursued two research internships in the German Aerospace Center (DLR), in the Remote Sensing Technology Institute, where she performed studies related to SAR imagery and multitemporal image analysis. Between 2012 and 2013, she served as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, working on computer vision and image processing related problems. In 2013, she started working as a Teaching Assistant within the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest, and she has been involved in several Earth Observation-related research projects performed under CeoSpaceTech. Since 2016, she is a Lecturer within the same faculty. Her research interests are centered on topics of information and coding theory, signal and image processing, machine learning, pattern recognition, change detection and multitemporal analysis.
