Lect.Dr. Lucian Andrei Perişoară

Photo PerisoaraLucian Andrei PERIŞOARĂ (research) was born in Focșani, Romania, on April 18, 1979. He received the Engineering degree and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, in 2003 and 2012. Between 2003 and 2013 he was preparator and assistant professor and since 2013 he is lecturer with the Department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest. His teaching activity includes courses, seminars and laboratories of Information Theory and Coding, Decision and Estimation in Information Processing, Information Transmission in Wireless Networks, Automatic Testing of Equipments and Processes. His research areas includes information theory and coding, turbo codes, decision and estimation, wireless communications, MIMO systems, wireless sensor networks. He was director of 2 national research grants and he participated as a member in other 3 projects. He published over 30 journal articles or conference papers and 2 books.
