Prof.Dr. Adriana Florescu

Adriana FLORESCU (research) received in 1988 the B.E. degree, respectively in 2001 the Ph.D. degree in electronics from Politehnica University of Bucharest (P.U.B.), Romania. She joined the Department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering from the faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology in P.U.B as Assistant Professor in 1993, then in 2000 as Lecturer, in 2003 as Associate Professor and since 2015 she works as Professor. Her research interests include power converters, computer aided design, renewable energy systems and artificial intelligence. She is IEEE member of the Power Electronics Society since 1995 and from 2014 she is with IEEE Romania Section Executive Committee.
