Secure quantum key distribution (QKD) techniques based on quantum technologies for space applications. Development of a secure key distribution protocol proposed and the realization of an entangled photons generator.  The key distribution protocol mainly aims to improve the quantum bit error rate (QBER). One method to increase of the entangled photons generating rate is based on stimulated spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC) previously developed at IFIN-HH.
