Assoc.Prof.Dr. Daniela Colțuc

Photo Daniela ColtucDaniela COLŢUC (research) received the Diploma of engineer (1981) and the PhD degree (1998) in Electronics and telecommunications from the Politehnica University of Bucharest (UPB), Romania. In 1991, she joined, as a researcher, the National Research Centre for Telecommunications and Space Teleinformatics at UPB. In 1999, she became lecturer of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the same university and since 2005 she is Associate Professor with the Department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering.
She served also as invited professor in France, at Université Jean Monnet in St Etienne, Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Physique et Electronique in Lyon and, as researcher at Laboratoire d’Automatique et Microinformatique Industrielle in Annecy and at Université Lumière Lyon 2.
Her research interests lies in the areas of image processing and include compressive sensing and single pixel camera, image authentication, scene reconstruction from SAR images and image compression.
