Ștefan-George Roșu is an Associate Professor at the "Politehnica" University of Bucharest (UPB), member of the electronic and computer industry (EII) team, within the UPB. In 2013-2016 he was a postdoctoral researcher at Politecnico di Torino, the energy department, Turin, Italy, where he worked on multi-phase converters, battery chargers and wireless power transfer systems. He has developed a wireless power transfer system using SiC transistors up to 22kW. He made an 18-phase converter consisting of 6 three-phase 100A / 1200V three-phase modules with driver, signal acquisition and FPGA control boards along with over 100 optical fibers for communication. He was member in  several projects and a project manager in two research projects.  He has authored or co-authored over 24 papers published in international conference papers and technical journals, two of them in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.
